Trucker Route pulls incidents, closures and construction from more than 40 state DOT feeds and layers them with National Weather Service alerts, wind warnings for high-profile loads, mountain-pass chain requirements and live traffic. Data refreshes every 15 minutes and the map is free, with no account needed.
Alongside the map we keep a per-state reference on the rules that decide whether a load is legal: weight and length limits, speed limits and lane restrictions, oversize permits, chain laws, idling and emissions rules — all 50 states and DC, each cited to the statute it comes from.
